Ripples Rathfarnham Is Now Open: A New Chapter for Ripples Bathrooms
Our new bathroom showroom at Nutgrove Retail Park is officially open, and it's been a busy few weeks for the Ripples team. We opened the doors to Ripples Rathfarnham on 1st October 2026, following months of planning, design and hard work from everyone involved. Located at Unit 15, Nutgrove Retail Park, the new 600-square-metre showroom is our second location in Dublin and a major milestone for the business.
Since opening, we've celebrated with a fantastic launch evening, welcomed Q102 for a live broadcast and received two national award nominations for our new showroom.
Take a Look Inside Our New Rathfarnham Showroom 
We wanted Ripples Rathfarnham to be somewhere customers could take their time, explore different ideas and get a real feel for what their new bathroom could look like. The showroom features over 40 individually designed bathroom displays, showcasing everything from modern walk-in showers and freestanding baths to a wide range of tiles, bathroom furniture and finishes.
Each display has been designed with real homes in mind, reflecting the different sizes and layouts of bathrooms found across Dublin and surrounding areas. We've also created dedicated consultation spaces where customers can sit down with our experienced design team, talk through their ideas and get advice on planning their renovation.
With our established Naas Road showroom and our new Rathfarnham location, customers can now explore over 110 bathroom displays across Dublin.
Officially Opening Our Doors on 1st October 
We officially opened Ripples Rathfarnham on Thursday, 1st October, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Sarah Barnes, Deputy Mayor of South Dublin. It was a proud moment for everyone at Ripples and a chance to mark the opening of our second Dublin showroom after months of planning and hard work. Following the ribbon cutting, Joe Flynn and Ian Bissett spoke with members of the press about the journey of Ripples, the vision behind the new showroom and what this latest opening means for the future of the business.
It was a great way to mark the occasion and officially welcome Ripples Rathfarnham to the local community.
Two National Award Nominations for Our New Showroom
We're also delighted that Ripples Rathfarnham has already received recognition from two national industry awards. Our new showroom has been named a finalist for Retail Showroom of the Year at the Irish Bathroom Trade Awards 2026. We've also been nominated for Best Tile Shop Over 300m² at the National Tiling & Flooring Association of Ireland (NTFAI) Awards 2026. We're particularly proud of these nominations because so much work has gone into creating the new showroom. From the initial designs right through to opening day, our team has put a huge amount of effort into getting every detail right.
To receive this recognition so soon after opening means a great deal to everyone involved.
A Fantastic Evening Celebrating Our Opening 
On Thursday, 8th October, we welcomed guests, suppliers, industry partners and friends of Ripples to celebrate the opening of our new showroom. Broadcaster Lisa Cannon hosted the evening, bringing together some great conversations about bathroom design, the industry and the story behind Ripples. Our owner Joe Flynn and director Ian Bissett, spoke about how far the business has come since its early days and shared their vision for the new showroom, including the thought and planning that went into creating it. We were also delighted to welcome Alanna Gallagher, Editor of Home & Style, and Jacqueline Walsh, Country Manager for Porcelanosa, who shared their experience and insights with guests.
It was a great evening and a chance for everyone to see the showroom properly, meet the team and hear a little more about what we're trying to achieve at Ripples. A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate.
Q102 Broadcast Live from Ripples Rathfarnham
The following day, Friday, 9th October, we welcomed Dublin's Q102 to our new showroom for a live radio broadcast. It was a brilliant way to continue the celebrations, introduce Ripples Rathfarnham to listeners across Dublin and give people another reason to come and see the showroom for themselves. After months of preparation and a very busy opening week, it was a great way to finish things off.
A Big Step Forward for Ripples Bathrooms
When Ripples first started out in 2008, the business operated with a small team and bathroom brochures. Today, we have two Dublin showrooms, a dedicated warehouse and an experienced team looking after complete bathroom renovations from start to finish.
Opening Rathfarnham is another important step in that journey, allowing us to welcome more customers from across South Dublin and surrounding areas. While the business has grown, our approach hasn't changed. We still believe that renovating a bathroom should be an enjoyable experience, with expert advice, quality products and a team that takes care of everything. From the initial home survey and design consultation through to installation and project management, our customers know they're in experienced hands.
