Our client envisioned a space that felt like a modern spa—natural, calming, and stylish. They wanted a balance of organic textures and sleek, contemporary elements to create a relaxing sanctuary within their home. The challenge was to seamlessly integrate these materials while keeping the design both functional and visually appealing.

To bring the vision to life, we began by selecting a mix of wood-effect and marble tiles that would give the space both warmth and sophistication. For the floor and parts of the walls, we used wood-effect tiling, adding a natural, organic texture that immediately made the space feel warm and inviting. This wood tiling was extended onto some feature walls to create a continuous flow and connect the different zones within the bathroom.

For the main walls, we chose grey marble tiles to bring an element of luxury and contrast against the wood tones. The soft grey veining in the marble added depth and texture, while the cool tone of the marble helped balance the warmth of the wood-effect tiles. This combination created a harmonious blend of nature and luxury, making the bathroom feel both contemporary and serene.

One of the key challenges we faced in this project was ensuring the different textures—wood, marble, and black fixtures—worked harmoniously without clashing. By carefully balancing the use of wood-effect tiles and grey marble, we were able to maintain a natural yet luxurious feel throughout the room.

Additionally, the use of black fixtures could have felt too bold in a softer, natural space. However, by strategically incorporating black accents—such as the black tap on the sink and black shower fixtures—in contrast with the white and oak elements, we created a cohesive and balanced design that added drama without overpowering the space.

The finished bathroom is a stunning example of how natural textures and modern features can be beautifully integrated to create a contemporary, spa-like retreat. The wood-effect tiling provides warmth, while the grey marble walls add a touch of understated luxury. The contrast of black fixtures against the white and oak elements creates a refined, modern aesthetic that feels both calming and stylish.

Our client was thrilled with the transformation, noting how the room now feels like an escape—a space where they can unwind in a peaceful, elegant environment. The combination of modern fixtures, natural textures, and carefully chosen lighting makes this bathroom a true sanctuary.
