As the premier bathroom installers in Dublin, we work with only the most experienced people and use the highest quality materials, meaning you can look forward to a beautifully finished bathroom which will stand the test of time.
The installation of a disability bathroom in your home can include several helpful fittings such as accessible toilets and baths, grab rails, shower seats and lifting aids.
If you have a disability and your circumstances would be made easier by the addition of a disability bathroom to your home, you can apply for the ‘Housing Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability’. Should you wish to apply for this grant, the team at Ripples Bathrooms would be happy to advise and help you with the process.
Here is some useful information taken from Gov.ie which details the type of work allowable under the scheme.
- grab rails
- bathroom facilities like an accessible shower or a downstairs toilet
- a stair lift
- space for wheelchair access
- an extension (typically for a bedroom or bathroom to accommodate a person with a disability)
How do I apply for the disability bathroom grant?
You can apply for the Housing Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability by downloading the form here or from the Housing Grants Section of your Local Authority or their website.
Once your form is completed, you should return it to your Local Authority Office. Upon completion of the form, you will be visited by an inspector who will ask that you obtain two bathroom installation quotations from two different companies.
